2024 - 2025 School Uniform Info

The Saint Peter School uniform policy helps provide students with a sense of pride in themselves as well as their school and enhances community unity and spirit. The uniform requirements are detailed below.  Uniforms may be purchased through any one of our three uniform suppliers:

Saint Peter School also maintains a uniform “closet” at school with clean, gently used uniforms donated by families that families may request to look through. A few times a year our Parent Association will run a “tag sale” to give the opportunity to purchase used items from the closet, the proceeds usually support school initiatives or scholarship programs.

We also have a school store with our partner Amerasport where families can purchase spirit-wear items for spirit wear Fridays!

Full Saint Peter School Uniform and Dress Code Information can be found in the Family Handbook, Section 6.

One note: There has been increasing concern about so-called "Forever Chemicals" (PFAS and related chemicals) and their use in clothing products. While the research on these chemicals is still in early stages (see: EPA website for more information), some families are trying to avoid exposure to these chemicals. During the '23-'24 school year we reached out to each of our uniform suppliers for information about the use of these chemicals and have received the following responses:

  • Tommy Hilfiger: They say that they do not use PFAS in any of their products
  • Land's End: They have formerly used PFAS in clothing that is labeled "stain resistant" but no longer sell PFAS-treated clothing.
  • Donnelly's: Did not comment on their use of PFAS

In general, if you are trying to avoid PFAS, you should avoid clothing that makes claims about stain resistance, wrinkle resistance (however, sometimes just means polyester fibers),  or other chemical properties. If you have further questions, I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly.
