Saint Peter School is looking for applicants for the following positions this coming school year ('24-'25 - see positions below); teaching positions will begin late-August 2024. These are full-time positions with benefits (except where indicated), including 401k, health/dental, life insurance, daily hot lunch, and very competitive salaries relative to other similar schools. Teachers at SPS are responsible for creating and implementing daily lesson plans, coordinating with other faculty members to create a comprehensive curriculum under the direction of the administration, flexibly addressing student needs, and supportive and positive classroom environment. This is an on-site role located in Cambridge, MA.

Qualifications for Teaching at Saint Peter School:

  • Catholic in good standing, particularly for elementary homeroom positions; not required in non-ministerial positions.
  • Elementary/Middle/High School Education Experience, depending on position; experience in Catholic education is a plus.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all learners
  • Interest in engaging students intellectually and supporting growth academically, socially/emotionally, and in their faith.
  • Excellent time management skills and strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field, a teaching certification, or teaching experience as lead teacher in a classroom setting.
