COVID Response & Updates

Successful Reopening

In September 2020, Saint Peter School welcomed all students back for in-person learning five days a week.   Thanks to the hard work of staff and parents, as well as the ongoing diligence of our entire community, we have provided uninterrupted in-person learning for the past 12 months.

COVID-19 Testing at SPS - For SY21-22, thanks to a partnership with DESE, the MA DPH, and CIC Health, SPS is able to offer three levels of COVID-19 testing and security to our students and staff.

  • Weekly Surveillance Testing: All students and staff can be tested weekly for COVID, to ensure the ongoing health and safety of our entire community.
  • Test-and-Stay Testing: If a positive case is identified within the SPS community, all "close contacts" can continue coming to school and will be tested daily to protect against spread and in-school transmission.
  • Symptomatic Testing: If students start exhibiting mild symptoms after they arrive at school, our school nurses can administer a rapid test. If it comes back negative, that student may be allowed to stay in school.

TO SIGN YOUR CHILD(REN) UP FOR OUR TESTING PROGRAM, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS ONLINE CONSENT FORM.
