Path to SPS: I started my career in education as a 5th Grade Teacher at The Calvert School  in Baltimore, MD. After two years of teaching, I worked in data analytics and market research providing our clients (like Pepsi, Tropicana, Drake's Cakes, etc.) with consumer and retail market analysis of their products in different markets. After IRI, I went to business school, where my dean kept nudging me to investigate nonprofit work. I have been involved as an Advancement professional for schools, colleges, and churches ever since.

Hobbies outside of school: I have three fabulous adult daughters, windsurf, sail, and play guitar in a Monday Night Music group.
