Ways to Give
Support Our Students!
Thank you for your support and for choosing to invest in students.
St. Peter School greatly appreciates the generosity from all who believe in our mission and work.
St. Peter School is fortunate for our community of friends who help support the school, both now and for the future. It is because of the support we receive that St. Peter School is able to continue educating children from in and around the Cambridge area. We thank all those donors and strive to make giving options both flexible and convenient.
Each year the Annual Fund Campaign, and the three fundraising events: Oktoberfest, the Dare to Dream Auction & Gala, and the St. Peter Classic Golf Tournament raise funds in support of our operating budget, educational programs, and St. Peter’s financial aid program.
St. Peter School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization−all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. For your convenience our Federal Tax ID number is 04-3132637.
If you would like to give outside of those events, we have outlined several ways below:
The Annual Fund comprises unrestricted giving from all sources that support all school programs and activities. Teacher salaries, scholarship aid, supplies, technology, areas most needed, and building maintenance are all funded in part by annual giving.
Capital gifts are gifts specifically restricted (by the donor) for capital needs that include endowment funds as well as funds for construction or renovation of permanent facilities.
Endowment funds ensure St. Peter’s future as an institution of the highest quality. Gifts specified for endowment purposes can be designated to support scholarships, teacher salaries, or general purposes, as well as to fund new program development.
Memorial gifts, can be a particularly meaningful way to contribute to St. Peter School. A gift in honor or memory of an individual may be made to the Annual Fund or as a capital gift and may be restricted or unrestricted.
Gifts in kind are non-cash gifts of property such as computers, books, scientific equipment, art materials, etc. Gifts in kind also make important gifts. The fair market value of such items is deductible for income tax purposes. A formal appraisal is required by the IRS for gifts in kind valued at over $5,000.
