Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Mark E. Smith and I am the Director of Admissions and the grade 5 language arts teacher here at Saint Peter School. Thank you for your interest regarding admissions to our fine school. I would first like to mention that in addition to being the Director of Admissions here at the school, I am also the parent of a student who graduated from Saint Peter School (Class of 2013). I always like to tell prospective parents that before I was a teacher and the Director of Admissions here, I was a parent. As my son continues his education, I am very comfortable in knowing that he has not only received a great academic education, but he  has also been instilled with; a strong, moral/ethical education, a sense of social justice, the teachings of Jesus and learning firsthand about the value of hard work.

Saint Peter School prides itself in its approach to educate the whole child. We offer a rigorous academic curriculum and modern amenities including our Chromebook 1:1 initiative for grades 6-8,  the Hoff Technology Center, an updated science lab, interactive SMART BOARDS in grades 2,3,4,5 & 6, Spanish instruction starting in our Pre-K class, and an on-site after-school program. First and foremost, however, we have an incredibly dedicated faculty and staff.

There is no better way to see the true spirit and culture of St. Peter than by taking a tour during a working school day. The tour takes about 20-25 minutes and gives you the opportunity to see classrooms in action, meet teachers, students and administrators, and most importantly give you a real sense of what our school offers each and every day.

I am generally available weekday mornings from 8:05 to 9:40, but I am also available other times throughout the day as well.

Please feel free to email me at admissions@saint-peter-school.org to set up a tour, or to just ask some questions about the school.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Mark Smith, Director of Admissions
