For 17 years, I taught high school Theology in and around the city of Boston. I grew up in Hyde Park, Ma. and graduated from Assumption College with a BA in Theology and a minor in Philosophy. After receiving my Masters in Philosophy from Boston College, I studied the Medieval and Renaissance time periods at Keble College (Oxford University). My wife Kate and I then moved to Scotland where I received a MPHIL in Religious Studies from the University of Aberdeen. I have been married for 16 years and have two daughters (Anna – 10 and Kendall – 8). My book Reclaim the Self: The Complexity of Identity was published in 2010 by Common Ground Publishing.
