Undergraduate Degree - BS in Geology from North Carolina State University. Go Pack!
Masters of Education M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College (Currently Pursuing).
Path to SPS: I worked as a geologist after college, and although I'm ... down to earth, I never felt that the work allowed me to utilize all of the talents God blessed me with. I answered a long-avoided call to become a teacher in my hometown of Gastonia, North Carolina. After three years of teaching science at Highland School of Technology (and loving every minute of it), I knew I needed to leave in order to grow personally and professionally. After much prayer and discernment, I accepted a position in Boston College's Urban Catholic Teacher Corps and found myself a part of the wonderful St. Peter community.

Favorite Teaching Memory - All the little things--students initiating a high-five, a class fully engaged in solving a problem, a student excited to show you their driver's license, students asking you to come watch their basketball game. I get to see dozens of children grow up a little each day. Could there be a better job?
Hobbies - Reading, playing drums, kayaking and making puns.
