Undergrad Degree - B.A. Elementary Education
Masters - M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction
Favorite memory at SPS - The first one that comes to mind is seeing all my 4th graders for the first time on the first day of school. Getting to know them that first day is a memory I'll keep with me for a long time!
An interesting fun fact about me is that I can play the flute! I started playing in 5th grade and played throughout high school.
Outside of School - I enjoy studying geography and maps. I tend to open up google maps and explore unknown areas, seeing where certain roads lead and locations of cities and towns. I also enjoy reading, exploring Boston, and hiking.
"I Iove how close of a community St. Peter School is. In my first year I immediately I felt welcomed and included. It's evident that every student truly loves coming to St. Peter School - that joy is on their face each day. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community!"
What inspired you to be an educator - I first knew I wanted to be a teacher in high school, when I joined my school's Future Teachers of America club. I was placed as a volunteer in a second grade classroom at one of my local elementary schools. I spent the entire year volunteering once a week, and fell in love with teaching! I loved (and still love!) seeing the creativity that all children possess and helping them become stronger learners.
