St. Peter School’s largest fundraiser of the school year.
The gala is above all a celebration of friendship, community building, and educational excellence.

The event begins at 6:00 P.M. with cocktails, passed hors-d’oeuvres, a silent auction, followed by dinner, remarks, and dancing. In attendance – faculty, alumni, parishioners, business members of the community, friends, and parents/guardians. The St. Peter School community raised over $92,000 at last year’s Auction & Gala, making Catholic education accessible for the future of St. Peter School Students. The proceeds from the ticket sales and the auction are earmarked for the Annual Fund.

Join the Gala/Auction Committee
Looking for new faces to join in the fun as well as welcoming returning volunteers to the Gala & Auction planning committee. All are invited to attend the gala planning meetings (or help behind the scenes when you are able) until the Gala. There are many ways to help which will fit everyone’s availability. Please contact the Advancement Office to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
Gala & Auction Planning Meeting Dates
February 6, February 13, February 27 at 8:00 A.M. The final meeting will take place on March 6 at 9:00 A.M., following the Ash Wednesday Mass. All meetings will be held at the Parish Center.
Donate to the Auction
Each class is asked to contribute 5 items for the auction – $50 minimum value. Popular items in the past have been gift cards, sports event tickets, use of vacation homes, high-end jewelry, wine baskets, toys, books, home goods, and more. Forms needed: Donation Letter and Donation Form.

We encourage families to ask local businesses to support our Auction. Before you do so, please check in with Advancement to make sure the establishment has not already been asked. Thank You!
Sell your raffle tickets
Raffle tickets will be sent home in January. We ask each family to support our mission (and take a chance on winning!) by selling or purchasing $50 worth of raffle tickets for the following prizes. Ask co-workers, neighbors, grandparents and other family members to support St. Peter School and buy those tickets!

2018 Gala Fun
We are a diverse, inner-city school carrying out the heartfelt mission of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in lifting up students and their families through access to academically challenging, faith-based education. Without scholarship assistance, many of our students would not be able to attend St. Peter School. We are living our faith every day while teaching to the heart, mind, and soul of each child. We are grateful for people who believe that a child’s future should depend on how hard they work, not on their ability to pay.
