We are excited to welcome your children back to school next week! Please read the following carefully for important updates and information on our start of school.

Opening Day K1 and K2 is an early dismissal at 11:30 am.
Grades 1-8 will have a full day.
Parent Orientation 8:00 AM with Coffee beginning at 7:45 AM in the Parish Center.
Arrival at School
Classes begin at 8:00 am. Students arrive between 7:30 – 7:45. K1 – 6 enter through the cafeteria door and at 7:45 are dismissed to their classrooms. Gr. 7-8 go directly to the middle school. Students arriving to school on time settle in, prepare their class materials and focus their minds on the lessons to come. Lower grades and anxiety are associated with chronic tardiness. Help your child succeed by being on time!
Dismissal from School
Dismissal times are staggered to alleviate congestion in our driveway. At 2:20, K1 and K2 are dismissed. At 2:30, grades 1-4 are dismissed. At 2:45, grades 5-8 are dismissed. There is no space for you to arrive early and wait in your car for your child. If you are early, you will be asked to loop around the block so that you do not impede the flow of cars. Parents should not exit their vehicles at pick up. Teachers are outside to assist.
Wearing a uniform is a badge of pride, creates an identity for a school, and is an important part of being a school student. Our uniform policy is strictly enforced and parents should expect to be contacted if their child does not arrive at school in uniform, prepared for the day. Please visit http://saint-peter-school.org/news/school-uniforms for guidelines and for uniform ordering information.
